Ryan Direct Group (RDG), the leading insurance services provider, is celebrating after winning the ‘Customer Champion of the Year – Broker’ award the Insurance Times Awards 2015 held at Battersea Evolution on 1 December.
RDG won the award despite strong competition from Ageas, Jelf Insurance Brokers and Kingsbridge.
Judging the awards was a two phase process. After being shortlisted for the initial written submission, RDG gave a presentation to a panel of judges to bring the submission to life.
The judging panel for the awards consisted of heads of industry leading insurance providers including AXA, Arthur J Gallagher, UK General, Zurich and Aviva.
RDG’s submission focused on the company’s dedication to all things customer, and stressed how the customer is at the heart of everything within the business.
Having implemented their ‘Think Customer’ initiative across all sites, RDG has delivered a reduction in claims settlement times, fewer customer complaints, improved satisfaction and new business opportunities.
